NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo opens up about his life off the court as a father.

The Milwaukee Bucks superstar, who has three children with wife Mariah Riddlesprigger, showed off his Halloween costume a few days early during a recent postgame press conference.

After his team lost 133-122 to the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 25, Antetokounmpo lightened the mood by showing up to the postgame press session dressed as Mr. Potato Head. He shared video about him in a suit on X.

When one reporter asked why the former MVP decided to dress up, he replied, “Why did I choose this…are you married?”

After the journalist confirmed that he is married, Antetokounmpo, who recently tied the knot in September, according to People – said: “Then you have no say in things.”

As reporters laughed, he continued: “When the day starts, you have a schedule. That’s what you’re going to do today, right?”

He explained that his to-do list includes working out, traveling home and playing with his kids.

“Then you’re going to take a nap.” And then we have a suit ready for you. You’re going to wear this suit. It doesn’t matter how you feel. Win or lose,” Antetokounmpo added. “Because at the end of the day, you’re a father and after that, you’re a basketball player.”

He concluded by saying, “And that’s why I choose this suit. Because I am first and foremost a father. I have three children. I need to go entertain my kids.”

Antetokounmpo included some advice for fans in the caption of the clip. He tweeted: “Always have your priorities” and added a praying hands emoji.

Fans applauded his post in the comments.

“Giannis, you are a true idol and role model,” one said said.

Another wrote“Children will make you do stupid things for no reason. It’s beautiful.”

Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger are the proud parents of 4-year-old son Liam, 3-year-old son Maverick and 1-year-old daughter Eva.

The NBA star, also known as “The Greek Freak,” returned to Greece to marry Riddlesprigger, People reports.
