College volleyball: Ridgewater Warriors fall short in regular season finale – West Central Tribune

WILMAR — Western Minnesota Community and Technical College earned a three-set victory over the Ridgewater girls volleyball team in a Minnesota College Athletic Conference Southern Division match.

Minnesota West won Saturday morning’s game 25-12, 25-7, 25-14.

The Lady Jays are ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA Division III volleyball poll and are 11-1 in the MCAC and 30-4 overall. Ridgewater finishes the regular season with a 0-12 conference record and a 3-17 overall record.

Ellie Moulton, a freshman from Staples-Motley, had 11 hits, two serves and an ace block for the Warriors. Rachel Jaeckel, a freshman from Renville West, had six kills, four digs and a perfect serve. Alli Malmgren, a freshman from St. James, had six kills and four digs.
