Fans Build “House of Madness” for IWR 32-Monster’s Ball

MONROE – Fans packed the House of Madness to witness the IWR 32-Monster’s Ball pro wrestling event, which featured a surprise appearance from AEW Superstar Camille.

When professional wrestling fans entered the Robert A. Hutchison FOP Lodge, they left donations of food and clothing. Several huge boxes of donations will go to The Oaks of Righteousness homeless shelter and food pantry.

“The VIP portion of the evening got off to a hot start when Man-Beast Rhino eliminated Eh Team N8 Special Forces Mattson and AD Norman in a two-on-one handicap match in a record time of just 17 seconds,” Gary Pillette A Crazy Revolution in Wrestling the co-owner said in an email. “Then the house lights flickered and pure evil entered the ring as Soul Reaver defeated Ace Evans.”

The last match for VIPs was the VIP Battle Royale with over 15 participants. Martian Webb, Buckeye Sam, Ryan Mathias and Corey Saint made the final four, with Webb taking the win.

During intermission, El Buño’s The Bachelor featured special guest TNA superstar and IWR United States Champion Jason Hotch and introduced IWR newcomer Kitty LaFleur.

Pillette said fans lined up before the main card began to meet AEW superstars Camille, Danhausen and pro wrestling legends PCO and Tommy Dreamer. Fans sang happy birthday to Camilla as IWR presented her with a cake.

In the first match of the night, TNA Superstar and former IWR United States Champion and Tag Team Champion Trey Miguel defeated IWR Superstar KJ Reynolds.

New IWR Superstar Kitty LaFleur made her in-ring debut against two fan favorites, Shelley “Bombshell” Benson and Mila Moore. LaFleur won.

Next up was a fatal four-way match for the IWR United States Championship. Top Notch Champion Jason Hotch faced Zico, former US Champion, young asshole Myron Reed and lovable psychopath Tommy Vendetta.

“This match was pure fire, with mayhem, mayhem and fast-paced action in and around the ring, and even a tribute to John Cena from Tommy with the Five Finger Shuffle,” Pillette said. “During this match, Zico and Hotch appeared to form an alliance with Zico, helping Hotch retain the IWR US Title.”

IWR World Heavyweight Champion Silas Young was next in the ring with manager and TNA Superstar John E. Bravo.

Pillette said the crowd quickly erupted when “Violence Innovator Tommy Dreamer” music started playing and began chanting “USA, USA.”

“The crowd saw the third man in this triple threat world title match when current NWA World Heavyweight Champion and former IWR Champion Thomas Latimer came in,” Pillette said. Three superstars battled it out in the ring. Silas, with the help of Bravo, ultimately retained his title.

The IWR World Tag Team Titles main event featured reigning champions The Monster’s of Destruction, former Tag champions Death Threat Army and the long overdue team of Danhausen and PCO.

“This match was what you would expect from a Monster’s Ball match with all the guns – steel chairs, steel trash cans, wooden doors and tables were broken, and the bodies of the six competitors left a trail of Destruction throughout the House of Madness,” Pillette said. “Outside referee and Detroit Red Wing great Darren McCarthy was busy with his own business. The match and rout ended with the crowd erupting into PCO chants and Danhausen winning to become the new IWR World Tag Team Champion. Danhausen, PCO and Soultaker are later revealed to be members of a faction called “Midnight Gulhausen”.
