2024 US Election Live News: White House Clarifies Biden’s ‘There’s Garbage Floating’ Comment

He also urged people to vote in the election and said there was “too much at stake” to miss the election.

“I was proud to cast my ballot for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, Lisa Rochester and Democrats up and down with several first-time voters. Folks, there is too much at stake to miss this election,” Biden said in a post on X.

The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, with Vice President Kamala Harris running against former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Trump is seeking a return to the White House after his controversial departure, while Harris is seeking to make history as the first female US president.

A recent New York Times-Siena College poll found Harris and Trump tied at 48 percent of the popular vote, remaining there even after three months of significant political turmoil in the country.

All eyes are on the decisive battle for the US presidential election on November 5th.
