A federal jury has found a New Jersey man guilty of setting fire to a Pennsylvania warehouse.

A South Jersey man has been convicted on federal charges for his role in a warehouse fire in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Ramiz Duca, 61, of Cherry Hill, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit arson, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.

The fire occurred at the warehouse located at 1388 Bridgewater Road in Bensalem on December 10, 2022, according to officials. The fire caused about $6 million in damage and a firefighter was seriously injured when a ladder collapsed, authorities said.

Prosecutors presented evidence at trial that Duca hired two men to help him plan the attack and paid them $15,000 each. One of the men later set the warehouse on fire, officials said.

In announcing the verdict Wednesday, prosecutors said nothing about a motive.
