Cleveland man accused of stabbing Medina remains at large

MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Cleveland man accused of a stabbing Sunday in Medina.

Medina police said the victim, a 32-year-old man, was attacked around 5:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Abbeyville Rd.

According to police, he was stabbed twice.

When police arrived, they immediately provided first aid until the victim was taken by emergency medical services to Medina Hospital. He was then transferred by medical helicopter to a trauma center for advanced care.

Police did not release his name but said he was in stable condition.

Witnesses told officers the suspect fled in a dark-colored SUV and police were later able to identify the suspect as Darrius Miller.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Miller for felonious assault and officers added additional charges may be filed.

So far, no motive has been revealed.
