Google Search gets an unusual update that could prove controversial

Google has announced that it will remove a small but sometimes useful feature from its search results: sitelink search. This feature allows users to search certain sites when they appear in search results.

This is a great way to narrow down your results if you know you’re looking for a particular site’s article, for example, without relying on internal search systems that can be a little fuzzy in some cases. If you are still wondering what I am talking about, check the image below for more clarity.

Google announces that it will remove this box in all countries and in all languages on November 21, 2024, i.e. in one month. This is the latest change to the search experience, which has evolved quite rapidly over the past year.
