T’gana CM-led team secures investment plans worth over Rs 31,500 crore during US visit, heads to South Korea

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his team ended their business tour of the US on a high note by securing investment plans worth over Rs 31,500 crore that will generate over 30,750 new jobs in the state. The delegation, comprising IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and officials, in over 50 business meetings and three roundtables in New York, Washington, Dallas and California, concluded 19 investment agreements/MOUs, totalling Rs 31,500 crore investment and 30,750 new jobs for Telangana, an official release said on Sunday.

The delegation showcased Hyderabad and Telangana as investment destinations for entrepreneurs and investors from various sectors and concluded new agreements and expansion agreements in areas such as IT, GCC, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, data centres, artificial intelligence and others.

The delegation received massive affirmation and support for various important initiatives, including the creation of the Future City, AI City and the revival of the Musi River, the release said.

The delegation led by Revant Reddy also held talks with representatives of Apple, Google and Stanford University, the release said.

”The journey has opened up countless areas for accelerated partnerships, setting new horizons and showcasing the richness of our potential for new opportunities. From our plans in AI to building the City of the Future, corporations, startups, business leaders, technology and business associations and influencers have agreed to take our breathtaking vision to more people,” Revanth Reddy said before leaving for South Korea.
