BEIJING (dpa-AFX) – Louis Lee, head of OnePlus China, announced in a Weibo post that the company’s highly anticipated OnePlus 13 phone will launch in October, exclusively in China for now.

“OnePlus 13 is the first to come with ColorOS15, with unprecedented super performance + super performance planning + super smooth animation experience, just this month,” Lee said.

The executive further added that the new smartphone will feature “the latest flagship Snapdragon chip”, along with Color OS 15’s Tidal Engine and Aurora Engine technologies to deliver a “smooth and revolutionary experience” to customers.

“The Tidal engine can plan performance very efficiently, and the Aurora engine can completely rebuild the underlying system, and the animation of the system is smooth and agile,” the executive explained.

According to Android Authority, the device is expected to launch after the Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for October 21-23.
