It’s starting to feel like fall, but it may even feel like winter during the evenings this week.

Here’s what’s in the forecast.

Hazardous Weather Overview Released for Central Indiana

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a seven-day hazardous risk advisory for freezing and/or freezing temperatures we may see this week.

The first day will be Wednesday evening, when freezing and freezing temperatures are likely. Current forecasts indicate it could drop to between 30 and 36 degrees this evening. As a reminder, 32 degrees is the freezing point.

The NWS says it should warm up slowly as we approach the weekend.

Which departments are concerned?

The counties included in the Hazardous Weather Outlook published by the NWS are: Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Hamilton, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Tippecanoe and Tipton.

🌞Frost in places before 10 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with highs near 63 degrees. Light wind from the south southwest.

Thursday evening

⭐Clear, with a minimum around 38 degrees. Light southeast wind.

Friday

🌞Sunny, with highs near 68 degrees. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Friday evening

⭐Clear, with a minimum around 41 degrees. Light southeast wind.

SATURDAY

🌞Sunny, with highs near 71 degrees. Calm wind.

Saturday evening

⭐Clear, with a minimum around 44 degrees. Calm wind.

🌞Sunny, with highs near 74 degrees. Light wind from the south southwest.

🌜Rather clear, with a minimum around 46 degrees. Light southeast wind.
