LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) – An urgent search is underway for a missing 9-year-old boy last seen in the Lake Worth area Wednesday morning.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said Brayan Maldonado was last seen around 7 a.m. riding a green mountain bike along Ferne Lane near Lake Worth Road.

PBSO has not yet provided a photo of the missing boy, but has provided a description. Maldonado is five feet tall, weighs 90 pounds and is wearing a blue shirt and brown pants.

Anyone with information on Maldonado’s whereabouts is asked to call PBSO at 561-688-3400.
