These rankings are designed to help top-performing agents and teams showcase their achievements in their specific local markets, building credibility where it matters most: close to home.

This year’s inaugural rankings feature agents and teams from 50 cities across the United States, reflecting the importance of localized expertise in today’s evolving marketplace. As buyers and sellers increasingly seek seasoned agents to adapt to new regulations, changing forms and processes, local success is a key differentiator.

By expanding its national and state rankings to include city-specific recognition, Actual trends provides agents and teams with more targeted opportunities to showcase their success. This new dimension of rankings allows real estate professionals to better promote their achievements and stand out in an increasingly competitive sector.

Main network affiliations of agents and teams in the ranking

When it comes to real estate transactions, RE/MAX agents and teams produced the highest number of transactions at 75,864. However, Leading RE agents and teams exceeded sales volume.

The RealTrends City Rankings include agents and teams that were submitted as part of the state and national rankings, as well as agents and teams that were submitted specifically for the city rankings. More than 22,000 agents were ranked in RealTrends this year, including at the national, regional and municipal levels.

Agents, teams and brokerages must submit verifiable data in order to be ranked. We then rank agents located in one of the 50 cities that make up the inaugural City Rankings list.

We also include ranking data submitted by the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance and AREAA.

RealTrends verified city rankings are based on the physical location of the agent and team, as submitted to RealTrends in the quote request. Production data represents residential transactions only. Actual trends excludes transactions such as commercial, rentals, leases, land, empty lots and outside activities referred from published totals. RealTrends is a VERIFIED program and obtains documentation of all reported production totals before publishing them. Verifications are carried out by working directly with our partner brands or by obtaining verification documents directly from submitting agents and teams.
