EndBadGovernance: Nigerian government to put 76 protesters, mostly minors, on trial – Adeyanju sounds the alarm

The Nigerian government is set to bring more #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters to justice, 80 days after the incident.

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju said the Nigerian government plans to put 76 protesters, including 66 minors, on trial on November 1, 2024.

Adeyanju said the protesters would be arraigned before Hon. Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

He revealed this in a brief statement on Friday.

According to Adeyanju: “After detaining the ‘End Bad Governance’ protesters for almost 80 days, the distraught Tinubu government is set to bring to justice more protesters, who are mostly minors, as the shows the attached charge, November 1 in Abuja.

“The 66 protesters, mostly minors, are to be arraigned on November 1, 2024 before the Hon. Justice Egwuatu, Court 10, 4th Floor, Federal High Court, Abuja Division.

Nigerians had demonstrated from August 1 to 10, 2024 to protest against poor governance in the country.
