On Friday, during an emergency meeting, members of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security in Canada unanimously agreed to conduct a study into the allegations.

As Indo-Canadian relations continue to deteriorate, Canada’s parliamentary committee is set to launch an investigation into allegations that Indian government agents were involved in “election interference and criminal activities” in Canada.

At an emergency meeting Friday, members of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security in Canada unanimously agreed to conduct a study on “electoral interference and violent criminal activities carried out by government agents Indian”, based in Vancouver. Global News reported.

According to the report, the committee will invite the country’s highest ministers, such as Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly, Minister of Public Safety Dominic LeBlanc, National Security Advisor Nathalie Drouin and even the Commissioner of the Royal Gendarmerie of Canada (RCMP) Mike Duheme, as part of this study.
