Arsenal defender William Saliba will miss next Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.

Saliba was sent off during the first half of Saturday’s match at Bournemouth.

The French defender initially received a yellow card for removing Evanilson.

But VAR advised referee Rob Jones to check the pitchside monitor.

After reviewing the footage, Saliba was then shown a red card for a last man tackle.

This is the third red card an Arsenal player has received this season, after Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard were sent off against Brighton and Manchester City respectively.
