Douglas County, Colo. (KKTV) – Two search and rescue missions took place in Colorado in the last 24 hours, one in Douglas County and the other in Teller County.

In Douglas County, search teams were dispatched last night to locate a missing adult in Highlands Ranch. Due to the cold weather, there was concern that the person was at risk of hypothermia. Rescue teams, using foot patrols, vehicles, drones and a K-9 unit, were able to locate the individual, who is now safe and expected to recover.
