20 migrants rescued from hideout by Border Patrol and El Paso police

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Border Patrol anti-smuggling agents rescued 20 migrants from a hiding place, according to El Paso Border Patrol Sector Chief Anthony “Scott” Good.

The disruption of the hideout was carried out in collaboration with the El Paso Police Department, Good said on his X social media account.

He also said that “smugglers continue to overpopulate and prioritize profit.”

He did not say when or where the incident occurred.

For fiscal year 2025, Good said agents disrupted 11 hideouts and made 165 arrests. He did not specify whether these apprehensions were local, regional or national.

We have contacted Border Patrol for more information and will update this story when we know more.
