POTTSBORO, Texas (KXII) – Saturday night, Texomans grabbed their cowboy hats and boots and danced the night away at the 24th annual Boot Scootin’ Ball in Pottsboro.

The ball is Preston Volunteer Emergency Services’ largest fundraiser, with an annual goal of around $400,000.

The money is intended for new equipment for the department, including ambulances and brush trucks.

The total raised this year is still being added up, but those who participated in the fundraiser said the room was full.
