Greenville Technical College announces search for next president

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Technical College Regional Commission announced Monday that it has begun its search for the college’s next president who will take over in 2025.

Dr. Keith Miller, the current president of Greenville Tech, plans to retire in July 2025.

Greenville Technical College Regional Commission Chairman Ray Lattimore said, “President Miller has prepared Greenville Technical College for an incredible future. As he leaves, we are confident that our next leader will build on these strong foundations and continue to respond to workforce needs as they arise.

The college announced that the Association of Community College Trustees has been selected to assist in the process. Dr. Barbara Jones, former president of South Arkansas Community College, will serve as research consultant.

Jones is already working to develop a presidential profile based on information collected from students, employees and the community at large during public forums, including:

  • qualities sought in a new leader
  • qualifications sought in a new leader
  • the challenges and opportunities that the College will face in the years to come.
