MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – It’s Energy Career Week, a recruiting time for the energy sector to encourage more people to consider employment in the industry.

It is also a reminder that high demand means a number of openings and career opportunities such as electricians, electricity distributors and dispatchers, power line installers and repairers, industrial machine mechanics, etc. name just a few.

Spire Alabama workers will tell you that working in the energy sector is more than just a job. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of their communities.

The Center for Energy Workforce Development created Energy Career Week. It is a nonprofit organization committed to developing a skilled and diverse energy workforce.
