Dragon Ball Daima raises a major question about Trunks and Goten

Dragon Ball Daima marked the beginning of a whole new era of Dragon Ball franchise to celebrate its 40th anniversary, and the latest episode has already started to raise questions about Trunks and Goten’s secret ability. Dragon Ball Daima launched his new adventure with Goku and the others transformed into children following a new wish on the Dragon Balls. But as the new Demon King Gomah had discovered, Shenron hilariously needed some clarification on the wish to make those who were already children even younger and turn them all into babies. So, Kid Trunks and Goten are now Baby Trunks and Goten Mini.

Dragon Ball Daima I’ve seen Trunks and Goten react to being turned into babies, but the craziest part of their reactions is the fact that they’re still able to communicate with each other. It’s not that their thoughts about becoming a baby are communicated to the viewers, but it’s clear that they are reacting to each other’s surprise. So it turns out that Trunks and Goten can actually communicate with each other telepathically, even if it’s just a little joke. And this has big implications.

Goten and Trunks can read each other’s thoughts

Goten and Trunks are the closest duo to Dragon Ball’the history of the whole. Both have a unique position as young half-Saiyans interested in the same things. While Trunks is more adept at training, Goten makes up for it with his inner prowess. This led to the two men having a very close friendship, and even a bit of rivalry. Which means they were also the perfect candidates to use the Fusion Dance technique during the events of the Majin Buu arc to become the new fighter, Gotenks.

It is possible that all the time they spend together makes it easy for them to know what the other is thinking and to be able to easily understand what the other is saying even though they have become babies. But what if this was actually the result of the Fusion Dance technique? They have merged so many times through trial and error and in actual combat that it is possible that they are now able to sense some sort of residual thoughts between them that are almost like telepathic communication from the outside.

Has Fusion changed Goten and Trunks forever?

Because Dragon Ball Daima takes place immediately after the events of the Majin Buu arc, Goten and Trunks have just emerged from their recent fight against Majin Buu as Gotenks. This follows all the training they went through to use the technique which saw them fail to fuse after a few attempts. But as the timeline continued through the events of Dragon Ball Super, we saw less and less of Trunks and Goten play a role in the upcoming fights. Unfortunately, we didn’t really get a chance to see their full capabilities in action.

Because we’ve only really seen Fusion Dance used by Goten and Trunks a few times (Goku and Vegeta only using it once in the fight against Broly), Dragon Ball hasn’t really had the opportunity to explore the aftereffects of the Fusion Dance technique. could actually be. Goten and Trunks may be more connected than they let on, and unfortunately it’s something that remains unexplored because Trunks and Goten themselves aren’t really interested in harnessing this invisible power. So for now, it’s just a one-off joke that hints that there might be more going on than we think.
