    The Valorant patch 9.10 release date is fast approaching and Riot Games has revealed some major updates that are sure to shake up the game.

    Announced on October 22, 2024, patch 9.10 includes significant changes to key agents. It introduces a completely new type of armor that will impact clutch moments and the economic system in Valorant.

    According to game designer Dan Hardison, the offseason is the perfect time to make these important updates since there are no VCT matches going on.

    Players can expect some serious adjustments in Valorant patch 9.10 and perhaps one of the biggest meta changes in recent months with the introduction of a mysterious new armor system.

    Phoenix

    • Flamber: Phoenix’s wall of flames can now penetrate solid objects, making him a better entry duelist. The change also gives his team better options for attackers when spreading sites.
    • Warm hands: This ability has been made a basic skill and no longer recharges after two kills, leading Phoenix players to use it more cautiously during rounds.
    • Curve ball: This is now Phoenix’s signature ability. Curveball will regain charge after two kills, ensuring that Phoenix can continue to be aggressive when he gets new flashes.

    Gekko

    • Thrash (Ultimate): Gekko’s ultimate cost increased by one point.
    • Dizzy and Wingman: While Riot has yet to release all the details, they have confirmed changes to how Gekko players can collect Dizzy and Wingman.

    Although specific details have not been released, Sentry Agents Sage and Cypher are also expected to receive changes in patch 9.10.

    New armor type: Regeneration Shield

    One of the most intriguing additions in Valorant patch 9.10 is the Regen Shield, a brand new armor type.

    Riot Games has kept most of the details under wraps, but as the name suggests, this new armor regenerates. Extra armor could make the difference for players looking to master the game.

    It could also change the way players approach their aiming duels, allowing them to regain their armor after winning fights, adding a whole new strategic layer to the game.

    Valorant patch 9.10 release date

    Valroant Patch 9.10 is expected to be released on November 19, 2024four weeks after patch 9.08.
