Increased demand boosts income for hotel and home owners

As the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, carries out construction and beautification of roads, intersections, flyovers, parks and hotels in Prayagraj ahead of Maha Kumbh 2025, the city is experiencing an influx of national and international construction companies. .

These companies have been camping in Prayagraj for several months, generating significant demand for rental properties, hotels and homestays to accommodate their managers and employees.

Local real estate dealers are reporting an increase in inquiries for well-furnished and unfurnished rental properties as construction professionals seek long-term housing.

In response, many landlords are converting vacant rooms and homes into homestays, providing accommodation, meals and other essential services to meet growing demand.

Restaurants and tiffin services are seeing increased activity as they cater to the needs of these temporary residents. This trend has not only strengthened the local real estate market but also boosted the hotel sector.

Preparations for the great Sanatan faith event are moving at a rapid pace in Prayagraj.

Construction and beautification works are underway across the city, not just in the Sangam region, as efforts are being made to make the event divine, grand, modern and eco-friendly.

As per the CM’s instructions, all construction work must be completed by December 15. Government and private construction companies are working hard to complete their projects on time, transforming Prayagraj into a city ready to host a massive religious gathering.

Prayagraj Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association President Harjinder Singh shared the excitement of local businesses as they gear up for the upcoming Maha Kumbh.

According to Singh, hotel and restaurant operators are upgrading their facilities to meet the needs of visitors during the grand event. Many national and multinational companies have already booked rooms in the city’s hotels, and several officials have been staying there for weeks.

In addition to corporate bookings, there is an increase in inquiries and advance bookings from devotees and tourists keen to secure accommodation for the days of the Maha Kumbh.
