The chief prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICTY), Mohammad Tajul Islam, said today (October 23) that the arrest warrants for 46 people, including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, for genocide and crimes against humanity, had been sent to the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

On October 17, the reconstituted ICT issued arrest warrants against 46 people, including Sheikh Hasina, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Obaidul Quader, Anisul Huq, AKM Mozammel Haque, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Hasan Mahmud and Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and then presented to the court. court before November 18.
