Harel launches an innovative online automated subscription tool

The Harel Group continues to invest in innovative solutions to meet the diverse needs of insurance agents and policyholders. The new exclusive tool of the “Optiweb” system offers agents an innovative solution that provides immediate online answers on the conditions of acceptance of the requested insurance and the personal premium that the customer will have to pay, including any medical supplements. This happens immediately after you complete the sales process and respond to the health declaration.

The conditions of acceptance of insurance candidates are confirmed at the time of signing the application, all in one process. Additionally, if an applicant is required to submit documents based on their personal medical circumstances to determine acceptance requirements, feedback is provided, detailing the required documents, as well as the option to attach those documents in the same process. This development improves agent professionalism and significantly reduces application processing time until policy issuance, allowing agents to allocate additional resources to customer service.

Harel representatives emphasized that automated underwriting relies on existing underwriting capabilities within Harel’s central system. The core process can weigh the various declarative and historical underwriting characteristics of insurance applicants, combined with business logic and agent benefits, enabling accurate underwriting pricing during the sales process.

Additionally, the system allows Harel’s underwriting department to build and update underwriting rules to improve automation rates without requiring additional development. Outsourcing rules from the core engine to digital channels is facilitated by a middleware layer based on MULE SOFT products, enabling real-time traffic via secure APIs to Harel’s innovative production simulator, Optiweb, developed at using cutting-edge technologies (React/Node) and implemented. on AWS cloud technologies.
