Harborplace redevelopment ballot measure will count, Maryland Supreme Court rules

BALTIMORE — A ballot question regarding plans for the future of Inner Harbor’s Harborplace will now be counted for votes, according to a Maryland Supreme Court ruling released Thursday.

Now, voters can decide whether MCB Real Estate, a private company, will be able to carry out plans to rebuild Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

In September, an Anne Arundel County judge ruled that ballot question F, which asks voters whether they agree with rezoning parts of the Inner Harbor so a developer can build there, was unconstitutional.

Thursday’s ruling overturns that decision.
