Desperate search for Chloe Cooper, 20, missing in Rockdale County

A Rockdale County family is desperately searching for their 20-year-old daughter, Chloe Cooper, who apparently went missing four days ago.

“It’s something that’s not like him at all. It’s absolutely not his character,” said his mother Paulette Morgan.

Chloe’s mother and stepfather, Frederick Morgan, say this sudden disappearance is not like her at all.

The 20-year-old told her mother she planned to go to Atlanta alone on Monday, her day off from Publix. She wanted to see a movie, eat and relax.

“She doesn’t have many friends at all. She doesn’t have a big social circle at all. She’s introverted, minimalist, naturally quiet and shy,” Ms. Morgan said.

Her stepfather vividly remembers seeing her leave the house early Monday morning in what he thought was an Uber.

“My dog barked and I saw her when I looked out the window. The car was a white… modern sedan. It wasn’t an old car at all. It was clean,” M remembers .Morgan.

While FOX 5 was at the Morgan family home, Rockdale County investigators stopped by to view Chloe’s room and ask more questions. Investigators also canvassed the neighborhood talking to residents about what they or their Ring cameras might have captured.

“They said they were investigating Uber. They were investigating the bank accounts,” Ms Morgan revealed.

Chloe is an only child. His parents reported him missing Monday evening. They say his disappearance feels more like a punch in the gut.

“That’s the problem, not knowing. Every parent wants to know that their child is safe,” Ms. Morgan concluded.

Rockdale County investigators issued an alert for Chloe on Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Lea Smith at 770-278-8044 or 943-216-2558.
