All Global brands came together to help raise the impressive amount for Make Some Noise Day.

World Make Some Noise Day took place this Friday (October 11) and a huge total of £3,789,912 was reached.

All Global brands – consisting of Radio-X, Capital, Extra Capital, Heart, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth And Gold – have come together to help raise this incredible sum, which will help small charities make a big difference to lives across the UK.

Staff and presenters raised funds across the region, thanks to Radio X programs Toby Tarrant take his Tarrant against the Thames challenge, which saw him take up £250,000.

The challenge took place on a personalized unicorn pedal boat, dubbed the “Tallulah Sparkle Party” by Radio X listeners.

Along the way, Toby was joined by other Radio X presenters such as Johnny Vaughan, Dan O’Connell And Rich Wolfendenwhile our hero was joined by some of the people he wanted to help, including Steve and Emilia who had received support from the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Foundation.

The week ended with The Chris Moyles Show live on location, with Chris, Dom, Pippa, James and the team welcoming a delighted Toby to Putney Pier.

Many listeners were also on hand for the big moment, which saw Toby greeted with his favorite drink… a Guinness of course!
