Kick Co-Founder Responds to Rumor He Signed $5 Million Deal With Daughter Hawk Tuah

Kick co-founder Ed Craven has responded to rumors that the platform signed a $5 million deal with Hawk girl Tuah.

Ed Craven has shut down viral rumors that Kick signed deals with “Hawk Tuah” daughter Hailey Welch and controversial comedian Charleston White.

On October 11, Twitter user TheKickJoker shared a post alleging that the streaming platform offered a $2 million deal to Charleston, who was arrested in 2023 for animal cruelty and again on October 10 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

“We are in the arc of partnership between the convicts and the criminals…. I hope the sources were wrong,” the user wrote. “First the guy in the boat, now this guy?”

It didn’t take long for Ed to debunk this claim, responding: “Kick hasn’t issued new offers in a while, as we’ve moved to the KCIP model.” This model gives qualified individuals the opportunity to apply, with a broader audience sometimes fast-tracked.

He continued: “All you’ve heard is mostly noise, clickbait, or third parties independently offering their own ‘deals.’ I mentioned this change a while ago, and it was a huge success.

“Kick performs better on almost every KPI, but more importantly, we strive to foster a healthier, stronger community of motivated individuals and reward them fairly. »

Shortly after responding to the post, another user claimed that Ed was signing daughter Hawk Tuah to a $5 million deal, saying she would bring “nothing” to the streaming platform.

But the Kick co-founder quickly denied it, saying: “That’s not true.”

The rumor started on October 11, when KickStreamsLive, a Twitter account with over 128.5K followers, claimed that Hailey had signed a $5 million deal with the streaming platform. Although no sources are cited, many people have taken this as fact.

This speculation follows the social media star’s debut on Kick on October 5, where she livestreamed her “Meet and Greet” at Dreamhack Atlanta.
