In a major crackdown, Delhi Police apprehended three individuals linked to the illegal firecracker trade, confiscating more than 1,300 kilograms of the banned materials. Authorities confirmed the arrests on Sunday.

The accused, identified as Manoj Kumar, Sanjay Atri and Vipin Kumar, have been indulging in the sale of illegal fireworks since the Covid lockdown. It turned out that Atri was supplying the crackers, police revealed.

The illicit goods were found at two locations following a police raid on Friday in Baprola village outside Delhi. Investigations are underway to trace the entire network involved in this illegal activity.
