The main contractor made the decision to send an email to its subcontractors after the company’s credit rating was affected by this action.

In an email seen by the Researcher, BAM said: “BAM is aware that its credit rating is temporarily affected due to the actions taken by a small supplier.

“The debt in the petition is disputed and we are in the process of asserting our rights against the petitioner.

“We hope this matter will be resolved shortly.”

A liquidation petition filed by motor carrier DAWS Transport Services on Oct. 4 has been withdrawn, according to court records.

The company added: “We would like to reassure you that there are no underlying issues with our ability to settle accounts as they become due.

“We continue to operate as usual.

“We would like to thank our loyal supply chain partners for highlighting this issue and for their continued business relationship which we greatly appreciate.
