Meghan Markle warns the public will ‘never forgive her’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle received a dire warning from a royal expert who claimed the public will “never forgive” her for making a complaint against the royal family.

The Duchess of Sussex has seen her popularity in the UK and US plummet since her sensational exit from cabinet and move to the US in 2020.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a series of explosive accusations against the royal family over the years and their approach does not appear to have resonated well with the public, who have gradually moved away from their support.

According to the latest YouGov rankings, the Sussexes still remain among the least popular royals in the third quarter of 2024.

Royal author Ingrid Seward has claimed that Meghan will probably never be forgiven for her attitude towards the royal family and that her husband should try going solo if he wants to save his reputation.

The Sussexes have recently made solo appearances for causes close to their hearts, with Meghan attending a gala at a children’s hospital and visiting a youth organization for teenage girls, while Harry visited New York, London and the Southern Africa to promote its charitable work. .

Ms Seward claimed the Duke could still “be largely forgiven” by the British public.

However, she told The Sun: “But I don’t see the same thing for Meghan.

“Deep down, people still love Prince Harry, and they want to love him, I think they’re just very, very disappointed in him.”

She added: “He made millions from it (his memoir Spare), but he seriously paid a price for it, because it did immeasurable damage to his reputation, particularly with his family, but also in the way how people perceive it.”

The expert also connected professionally about the couple’s separation paths.

She said: “I feel like they’re both going on slightly different paths to see if it works. They tried it together, and it didn’t work very well.

“So they’re doing it separately to see how well it works. And then Harry also puts a little craziness into it by going into this house of horrors.”

“It’s really good to see a glimpse of old Harry…and, I hope, it will resonate with him too.”

It comes as the Duchess was defended by a broadcaster after she was ‘forced to leave’ the UK by the royal family.

GB News broadcaster Nina Myskow claimed Meghan had been “bullied out of this country” and blamed the British press for the Sussexes’ decision to leave Harry’s home country.

He said: “Meghan Markle has been bullied out of this country by the royal family and the British media.”
