KUWAIT CITY, October 14: Kuwait Municipality announced the start of several field visits by its Violation Removal Department teams in the six governorates. The initiative aims to address and reduce the negative impacts of encroachments on state property while enforcing regulatory measures against violators.

In a press release issued on Monday, the municipality outlined the objectives of the specialist monitoring team, including assessing compliance with relevant regulations and systems. The team will conduct inspections in various areas known for violations to facilitate their elimination.

During today’s field campaign, teams successfully removed 35 encroachments on state properties. Among the removals were canopies located near electrical transformers that hamper the operations of the Ministry of Power, Water and Renewable Energy.

Furthermore, the municipality indicated that this first round of inspections would be followed by other field visits to all governorates. These visits will follow a schedule developed by the Public Relations Department in coordination with the Violation Removal Department and will continue over the coming weeks.
