Treasury seeks public comment on AI financial policy – Presidential Prayer Team

The agency seeks to increase awareness of the current use of artificial intelligence in financial services.

The Treasury Department recently published a request for information and insights on the current use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the financial sector from people with experience in financial services. The Department is interested in the potential risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in finance and the type of impact its use may have on consumers, businesses and investors. Public comments will be accepted for 60 days.

“Treasury is proud to play a key role in driving responsible innovation, particularly as it relates to artificial intelligence and financial institutions,” said Undersecretary for Domestic Finance Nellie Liang. “Our ongoing stakeholder engagement allows us to better understand artificial intelligence in financial services.”

As the Lord leads, pray with us…

  • May Secretary Janet Yellen be guided by God as she leads the Treasury Department.
  • That Undersecretary Liang would seek your guidance in managing the National Finance Office.
  • For Treasury officials who are trying to determine the risks and benefits of applying artificial intelligence to financial services.
