The food, wine and spirits festival at sea, attended by famous chefs, departs from Boston in 2025.

Chiefs Make Waves: Destination New EnglandA cruise featuring award-winning chefs, TV personalities, cookbook authors and more will depart Boston aboard Norwegian Cruise Line and travel to Portland, Maine and Saint John, New Brunswick, October 24-28, 2025.

Foodies will cruise with big names in the food and restaurant industry, including Jamie Bissonnette, Alton Brown, Alex Guarnaschelli, Anne Burrell, Esther Choi, Eric Adjepong, Jeff Mauro, Andrew Zimmern and more.

Cruisers will enjoy cooking demonstrations, kitchen chats, restaurant takeovers and buffet lights showcasing seasonal dishes favored by top chefs.

“There really is no better way for a foodie to enjoy the bounty of fall!” its organizers wrote in a press release.

In addition to gastronomic experiences, guests will attend themed parties and wellness opportunities, enjoy outdoor bars, pool terrace and hot tubs, casino, spa, fitness center, sports court and more.

The first sold-out Chefs Making Waves cruise will sail from Miami to the Bahamas in March 2024, and the second will sail from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico in May 2025.

Those interested in a trip to New England outside of Boston can sign up for presale through October 27, and tickets will go on sale to the public on October 29 at 2 p.m.
