Meteorologist Josh Green gives a live update on our forecast heading into the weekend and checks in on the tropics

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Warm afternoons above average in the mid to upper 80s close out the work week and bring us into next weekend. No rain is expected in the next few days. A front coming in next week to start the work week could stir things up just enough for a shower or two.

The tropics remain beautiful and quiet. According to the National Hurricane Center, no new tropical systems are expected to develop in the next seven days. I’m watching the Caribbean for a possible development in 8-10 days. We’ll talk about this in today’s First Alert Daily.
