Man rescued after rollover in Kalispell

People were rescued by extrication after a single vehicle rollover at the intersection of Church Drive and Farm Market Road on Thursday.

The injured passengers were transported to specialized medical care by the ALERT ambulance team.

The following message was sent by West Valley Fire and Rescue:

At approximately 9:58 p.m. on October 24, 2024, West Valley Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident at the intersection of Church Drive and Farm Market Road. Upon arrival, crews found an overturned vehicle with a person trapped inside, requiring immediate extrication efforts.

West Valley Fire and Rescue initiated scene stabilization and began extrication to safely remove the occupants from the damaged vehicle. Kalispell Fire crews quickly joined the operation along with the ALERT air ambulance team, which provided critical support in transporting the injured to specialized medical care.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Montana Highway Patrol troopers were on scene to direct traffic, secure the area and begin an investigation into the cause of the crash. Coordination between all agencies was essential to ensure timely and safe removal of persons from vehicles and effective cleanup of the scene.

Additional information about the condition of those involved in the crash and the details of the incident are still under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
