Students welcome dance program from Miami City Ballet School

Dancers from the City Ballet School of Miami presented a program Wednesday called “From Studio to Stage: A Journey with Miami Ballet School” for children attending Palm Beach Public and Palm Beach Day Academy.

Dancers performed several pieces for 567 students, faculty and invited guests in the Walter S. Gubelmann Auditorium of the Four Arts Society.

Among the stories told in the ballet were Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and George Balanchine’s production of The Nutcracker.

The presentation was part of Miami City Ballet School’s community engagement efforts. The event was coordinated by the staff of the Society of the Four Arts and the Children’s Library.
