Newly engaged Michaela Testa admits her “worst fears” came true during her partner Maxwell Krause’s proposal.

Australian influencer Michaela Testa has revealed her “worst fears” came true when she proposed to fiancé Maxwell Krause in Japan.

The 25-year-old social media star confirmed the exciting news of her engagement to her boyfriend Maxwell in a sweet Instagram post on Thursday.

And the next day, Michaela shared a TikTok video to reveal one aspect of the romantic proposal that she wasn’t impressed with.

“My biggest fear in the world happened tonight,” she explained in a video showing the couple’s moment of proposal.

“My boyfriend asked me to be his wife tonight. Well, I didn’t get my nails done and he begged me because he had a reservation at the bar where we met in Japan.”

Despite her boyfriend’s attempts to agree to take her for a romantic night at the same place where they first met, she insisted that she would rather stay at the hotel.

“I was lazy and said, ‘Baby, let’s just order room service.’ Let’s stay in the room and look at this beautiful view. Let’s watch this and stay in our pajamas,” she said.

Even though Maxwell tried to compromise and ordered some “good steaks,” Michaela revealed that her meal of choice was “fries and fruit.”

She went on to admit that the thought of proposing publicly filled her with anxiety as she gushed about her new fiancé.

“But I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I have so much anxiety, I’m so glad it happened in private where I could feel comfortable and just live in the moment while enjoying a beautiful view of my favorite city in the world,” she said.

Michaela admitted that although she didn’t get her nails done, bodybuilder Maxwell gave her the perfect engagement ring.

“He did amazing in that ring,” she said. “Princess, it’s me. Gold, it’s 100 percent me, with diamonds on the ring, I can’t believe this man is so perfect,” she said.

“We love each other so much. It just feels right. We just love each other so unconditionally that we never fight,” she said.

“I am now the happiest woman in the world.”

The influencer shared the happy news of their engagement on Instagram on Thursday.

In the announcement, the TikTok star showed an image of her hand holding a diamond-encrusted engagement ring.

Above a picture of the sparkling jewelry, she simply wrote, “I said yes.”

The lovers met online in 2022 and continued to correspond throughout 2023.

The couple finally met in person in Japan in March at the OnlyFans model’s birthday party.

The meeting coincided with her split from superstar Mexican-American boxer Ryan Garcia.
