Meet the real-life partners of the Beauty in Black cast

Tyler Perryan empire built on dramatic stories and the latest project of an entertainment mogul, Beauty in blackdemonstrates everything but ideal relationships – be it family or romantic partners.

Although the Netflix series, which premiered in October 2024, is quite raunchy and filled with toxic relationships, the cast of the series, including leading ladies Taylor Polydore Williams and Krystle Stewart, live very different lives.

Williams married her husband in early 2024, and Stewart celebrated her 10th anniversary this year.

“Thank you to my husband for everything,” Williams wrote on her Instagram page. Instagram after her wedding. “I really just wanted to tell my husband this because he already knows how grateful I am lol. .”

Like Williams, other cast members also recently tied the knot or, in Xavier Smalls’ case, popped the question to his co-star (and she said yes!).

Williams, who plays Kimmy, married her husband Jero Williams on May 4, 2024, after Christmas engagement in 2022.

“Best day of my life! Thank you to my husband for everything,” the actress wrote on Instagram alongside photos from the couple’s wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.

Jero attended Morehouse College and is currently a surgical resident.

Krystle Stewart and Max Sebrechts

Stewart, who plays Mallory, married a Belgian-born model. Max Sebrechts in August 2014. The couple has two children: daughter Anne-Jolie and son Max Jr.

Stephen G. Norfleet, who plays Charles, and Anthony Hemingway married in September 2019 after getting engaged the year before. According to New York Timesactress Aisha Hinds officiated the wedding, which took place at the Newhall Mansion in Piru, California.

“My experience as an African American is that we have the hardest time feeling comfortable and openly expressing our sexuality,” Norfleet told the publication. “But as soon as we met, I realized that this is the one I’m really in love with and I don’t want to hide it.”

Other celebrities attending the 300-guest wedding included: Regina King, Sterling K. Brown, Sarah Paulson And Josh Duhamel.

Charles Malik Whitfield, who plays Jules, is married to Rosie Whitfield. The couple has a common son, Leo. Charles is also the father of three daughters: Lexi, Kiara and Madisyn, as well as a son, Malik.

In May 2020, Charles wished his wife a Happy Mother’s Day, thanking her for her support.

Actor and dancer Brian Tanakawho plays Officer Alex, previously dating Mariah Carey for over seven years now. The couple got together in 2016, but eventual split in 2023.
