Prince William receives messages from celebrities that his separation from Kate is approaching

Prince William decided to say goodbye to Princess Kate as he gathered with celebrities for his main event in Cape Town.

Acclaimed model Heidi Klum, actress Nina Dobrev and other celebrities have issued statements confirming their participation in the Prince of Wales Earthshot Awards in November. This is the first time the Earthshot Prize has been held on the African continent.

However, Kate Middleton is not expected to join her husband at his event due to her health as she gradually returns to public life following doctors’ advice.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared photos of celebrities on Instagram Story to delight fans with the initiative of the future king.

In a statement, Klum said: “As someone who uses my platform to advocate for a better future for our children, I am deeply inspired by the Earthshot Prize’s commitment to finding and supporting solutions for a healthy planet.

“I’m so excited to be part of an incredible evening of Earthshot Awards to celebrate innovators and encourage our youth to take part in building a better future.”

Dobrev also shared her excitement, saying: “As someone who cares deeply about the health of our oceans, I was very inspired that the Earthshot Prize is focused on finding solutions in Africa and around the world that will help ensure the protection of these vital ecosystems for future generations.”

The guest list includes both international and African celebrities, many of whom are household names across the continent. Founded by Prince William in 2020, the Earthshot Prize aims to award £1 million to five winners each year for a decade.
