Massachusetts Lottery Winner: $100,000 Mass Cash second prize claimed on Friday.

A winning lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold Friday at Country Conveniences in Athol.

It was one of two $100,000 prizes won during the “Mass CashThe drawing took place on October 25. The winning numbers were 3,8,23,27,34.

In addition to the ticket sold in Athol, the second winning ticket was purchased at Energy North stores in Saugus.

Mass Cash drawings are held daily at 9:00 pm and tickets cost $1 per game. The player must select five numbers from 1 to 35, and there are three prizes available to win.

If all five numbers match the numbers drawn, the Mass Cash player wins $100,000. If they match four numbers, the prize is $250, and if they match three, the prize is $10.

The odds of matching all five winning numbers are one in 324,632, lottery officials said.

Overall, at least 544 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed Thursday in Massachusetts, including 18 in Springfield, 15 in Worcester and 37 in Boston.

Massachusetts State Lottery issues full list of winning tickets every day. Only winning tickets over $600 are included in the list.

Still largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $1 million a year for life.

The prize was from a lottery “Millions of Life” scratch ticket game. the winner received his prize through the trust on July 10th.and decided to take a lump sum payment of $15.4 million.
