A winning lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold Friday at Country Conveniences in Athol.

It was one of two $100,000 prizes won during the “Mass CashThe drawing took place on October 25. The winning numbers were 3,8,23,27,34.

In addition to the ticket sold in Athol, the second winning ticket was purchased at Energy North stores in Saugus.

Mass Cash drawings are held daily at 9:00 pm and tickets cost $1 per game. The player must select five numbers from 1 to 35, and there are three prizes available to win.

If all five numbers match the numbers drawn, the Mass Cash player wins $100,000. If they match four numbers, the prize is $250, and if they match three, the prize is $10.

The odds of matching all five winning numbers are one in 324,632, lottery officials said.
