Georgian Dream party won the elections with 55.3% of the votes – election commission – World

TBILISI, October 27. /TASS/. Georgian Dream, which is currently the ruling party in Georgia, wins the parliamentary elections with 55.3% of the vote, according to the Central Election Commission after votes were counted by hand in 54% of polling stations.

The Coalition for Change party takes second place with 10.53% of the votes. The Unity – National Movement party takes third place with 9.8%.

On October 26, parliamentary elections were held in Georgia. This was the first election in the country using electronic ballot boxes, installed in 74% of polling stations and covering almost 90% of voters.
