Pagano Reunion is filled with celebration | News, Sports, Vacancies

Tommy Tedesco celebrates his 100th birthday.

The 68th Pagano Family Reunion was held in July at Willow Creek Winery. More than 100 family members attended the event, coming from various parts of New York, as well as Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

The celebrations began with a lavish reception followed by prayers and a blessing from Paul Carlson. Lunch from the Sunset Bay Restaurant was served at 1:00 p.m.

The Kane family kept the kids busy with games, prizes and a piñata.

The competitive horseshoe tournament has a new champion team in Chris Pagano and John Bonner. The second place teams were Steve Pagano and Bob George. The horseshoe tournament was organized by Bruce Valvo.

Incentive prizes were awarded to various participants. But the highlight was the recognition of the oldest man present, Tom Tedesco, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday! Those at the reunion serenaded him with a birthday song and then everyone enjoyed a birthday cake to celebrate him.

Winners of the Pagano Reunion Horseshoe Tournament include: John Bonner, Bruce Valvo (tournament organizer) and Chris Pagano (from left).

All participants had a great time together, cherishing moments spent with family from near and far. Thank you to everyone who planned, helped and attended this year’s reunion, and special thanks to Bev Pagano, Linda Williams and Ruth Dolce.

Next year’s reunion committee members will be Joe, Katie and Lauren Dolce, Mike and Jenn Pagano, Marianne and Ron Bowers and family, Angelo and Karen Pagano, Steve and Katie Pagano, Bruce Valvo, Christina and Mike Kane. The 69th Reunion will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, one week later than usual, at Willow Creek Winery.
