Several key New York Yankees players plan to become free agents after the World Series

With the New York Yankees on the brink of elimination, it might be time to start thinking about the future of the Bronx.

The Yankees currently trail the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-0 in the World Series. A loss on Tuesday night would have ended both teams’ seasons, ending New York’s hopes of winning its first title in 15 years.

In addition to eliminating the Yankees from the 2024 postseason, a loss would immediately open up several questions heading into a critical winter for the club.

The team’s list of pending free agents is extensive, especially when it comes to top-tier talent. Here’s every player who could hit the open market this offseason:

Juan Soto, OFF

Gerrit Cole, SP

Alex Verdugo, OFF

Clay Holmes, MP

Gleyber Torres, 2B

Luke Weaver MP

Tommy Kahnle, Member of Parliament

Anthony Rizzo, 1B

Jonathan Losisiga, Member of Parliament

Lou Trevino, MP

Tim Hill MP
