Kelly Osbourne made it to the second season of The Osbournes during the first viewing

Kelly Osbourne doesn’t regret appearing on the family reality show, but chose not to watch The Osbornes until very recently.

“I just watched this year The Osbornes for the first time,” Osbourne, 40, tells exclusively in newest Us weekly cover legend. “And I only completed the second season.”

Osbourne admits it was “very difficult” to understand did she regret anything?

“It’s terrible to watch yourself on TV. I don’t care what anyone says,” she notes. “You’re like, ‘Oh my God, I have a double chin there and my upper lip is shiny.’ You will find everything wrong with yourself.”

While watching previous episodes, Osborne remembered the problems she faced he then added: “But what was even harder was that I was struggling so much with my identity, who I was and what I wanted. (It was) on my mom (Sharon Osbourne) I have cancer and my father (Ozzy Osbourne) actively demonstrates his passions. It was quite a difficult time.”

The Osbournes, which aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005, starred Ozzy, 75, and Sharon, 72. along with his youngest children: Jack and Kelly.. (Kelly’s sister Eme chose not to document her life. Ozzy also has three older children from a previous marriage.)

“When I went back and looked at the footage, I thought, ‘I wish I could realize how cool it was and not think I was useless,'” Kelly admits. “And I really regret it because it was such an incredible time.”

After The Osbournes ended, Kelly and her family launched a short-lived variety series called The Osbournes Rebootbut it was canceled in 2009 after one season. There were plans for The Osbornes reboot on VH1, but the revival series was ultimately canceled in 2015.

“I think (my time for The Osbornes) is a blessing,” Kelly adds. “I love that people come up to me and think they know me. They feel comfortable enough to say certain things that you’ll just say, “Wow.” But that means they have something to do with you.”

Kelly continues to live in the public eye, serving as a co-host on Project Catwalk, Fashion Police, Project Runway Junior and more. However, her greatest achievement was becoming the mother of a son, Sydney, whom she welcomed in 2023 with boyfriend Sid Wilson.

“I don’t remember life before having a baby because everything has changed. I didn’t realize how intense the feeling of love (will be) when you have a baby,” she tells Us. “This is the most exciting feeling I have ever experienced. At that second you realize: “You have given me a purpose like nothing ever before.”

Kelly didn’t really have a “purpose” in her life, she said. before the birth of the first child.

“I went from thing to thing, this level of self-loathing and self-doubt that I had before just threw me off guard,” she tells Us. “I don’t believe that God would give me a child at a time when I was not mentally or physically ready for one. … I’m so glad it happened when I was a little older and together.”

She continues: “40 years is an opportunity to become your true self and say goodbye to everything from the past. I can start again.”
