Investigators scour landfill as search for Suzanne Simpson enters ninth day

SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching a dump in southeast Bexar County as the search for a missing Olmos Park mother enters its 9th day.

Suzanne Simpson, a mother of four and real estate agent from the Olmos Park area, has been missing since Oct. 6, prompting a statewide CLEAR Alert and several law enforcement agencies. laws in search of him.

The Olmos Park Police Department released a statement Tuesday saying, “We are confident there is a good chance of recovering Suzanne at this location.”

Brad Simpson, Suzanne’s husband, was arrested for domestic violence and currently remains in custody in the Bexar County Jail on $2 million bail.

The ATF took Brad into federal custody, meaning that if he were to post that bond, he would be placed in the custody of the U.S. Marshals.

Barton Simpson, brother of Brad Simpson, posted on social media about the search.

“We are very grateful for the endless, grueling hours they spent uncovering solid information,” Barton Simpson said. “We are comforted that they may be close to determining what happened to Suzanne.”
