South Iredell High School senior Jacqueline Maglente recently presented a check for $2,404.28 to Linda Morris, executive director of Bridge of Hearts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting homeless and impoverished schoolchildren in the greater South Iredell area. Lake Norman and northern Iredell County.

Maglente raised money during a pickleball tournament held Sept. 28 in Mooresville’s The Farms neighborhood. Although it took place at the tail end of Hurricane Helene, the tournament was a huge success, Maglente said:
