On episode 7, Wednesday, October 30, the remaining contestants flew to Tahiti to meet their leading lady for a romantic one-on-one date. Joan said she “hopes (she) finds someone to spend the rest of (her) life with.” Her friend Nancy from Golden Bachelor surprised her in Tahiti and spoke candidly about her journey on the series.

Joan went on a solo date with a guy

Boy was first at the recitals this week. The couple spent time on a cruise ship before snorkeling with stingrays and sharks. “What I wanted this afternoon was for us to pick up where we left off. It’s like yesterday’s hometowns,” Guy told Joan later over dinner. “I have to say that from my point of view, that’s exactly what it was.”

Joan said she put “a lot of thought” into the fantasy suites and decided she wanted to spend time off-screen with each guy. However, she did not want to have physical relations with any of the men in the fantasy apartments. For her, this is something she wanted to save for the person she ends up with in the end. Guy praised Joan for this decision. “I respect Joan’s decision to make a fantasy suite about emotional intimacy,” he said in a confessional.

Joan and Chock’s connection deepened during their date

Next on the date was Chock. Joan said she had “strong feelings” for Chock. They had fun riding an ATV. “I can imagine living with him,” she said, also saying he makes her feel “safe.” Their smiles spoke for themselves during the event!

“I want to spend the rest of my life with her, what a day!” Chock said in confession.
